Youth Home Purpose Calendar Media Leaders
While training for ministry at Life Pacific College Canyon and Jessica worked as volunteer youth pastors in La Verne, CA. Canyon graduated from LPC in 2006 with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. One year after that Jessica and Canyon were married. After this Canyon worked as a substitute teacher while completing his M.A. in Religion at Azusa Pacific University. During this time Jessica worked as a waitress and they both continued to serve churches in various roles.
After Canyon completed his M.A. in 2009 he and Jessica moved back to Crescent City where Canyon has worked as a Junior High and High School teacher at the Foursquare Christian School and Jessica has been a stay-at-home mom (their beautiful daughter Elle was born in March of 2010). Canyon recently completed a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Jessica is currently working on her B.A. in communicative disorders from New Mexico State University through an online program. Once finished with that her plan is to enroll in a Masters program for speech pathology.
Canyon and Jessica took on the extra responsibility of being youth pastors here at Foursquare in June of 2011, and are very excited about serving God in this new capacity.
